If you bought an iPhone between September 2014 and January 2015, Apple might just give you a free replacement. But, before you start lining up in the middle of the night in front of the Apple store, this isn't for the next Apple iPhone coming out later this year.
It's a replacement part for only some iPhone 6 Plus phones. Apple says it'll replace one of the cameras that could be taking blurry photos.
The problem has to do with Apple's iSight camera, and only some are affected. To find out if your iPhone 6 Plus is on the recall list, enter your phone's serial number here.
If your phone is a match, Apple will replace the camera for free. But, don't call your wireless provider, like AT&T or Verizon; go to an Apple store or an authorized Apple retailer.
And, don't worry, your selfies are safe. Apple says the blurry photos are taken from the camera on the back your phone, not the one looking back at you.
