Ever since Microsoft released its new operating system Windows 10 last month, we've been telling you about some of its better features, like its new Web browser Edge and its improved personal assistant Cortana. We've also been telling about some of Windows 10's not-so-good features, notably bugs.
But there are also Windows 10 issues that are a little harder to categorize as good or bad. Case in point, the amount of RAM, or memory, that it uses.
When you run a lot of programs on your computer, when it's searching around for stuff you saved, it eats up a lot of RAM. Generally speaking, that's not such a good thing because it can slow down your computer.
But with Windows 10, it may be a good thing that it uses a lot of RAM. How much RAM? As much as 1GB, by some estimates. If you have a 2GB computer, you can see how that would be a problem.
That's a lot more RAM than previous versions of Windows used. But, it is actually an improvement.
