The trade embargo on Cuba is finally over and relations are normalizing. The embassy even reopens this week! To celebrate, Airbnb just waived all costs on lodging this week.

Did you know that there are already more than 2,000 places to stay in Cuba through Airbnb? And if you book your stay from July 19 to July 26, the room-sharing service will cover the costs of your stay.

Airbnb is the service that allows people to open their doors to travelers around the world. The homeowners charge the guest to stay in their empty living quarters and the process is all monitored through Airbnb.

Now that the trade embargo has been lifted, Airbnb is giving its users a way to join in on the historic moments. A post from Airbnb's Twitter page says, "To our guests who booked trips to #Cuba this week, good news: We're celebrating the embassy re-opening and your stay is on us!"
