The Islamic-based jihad group ISIS is gaining traction online and it's no secret that they've done some serious damage around the world. As ISIS's online presence is gaining more and more attention, there is one idea on how to defeat them that involves Internet trolls.

Have you ever heard of an Internet troll? I'm sure you've seen them even if you don't know what they're called.

Internet trolls are people who saturate the World Wide Web with false arguments and meaningless discussion to distract from real issues. These are the people that comment endlessly to get their point across even if they are completely wrong.

Kalev H. Leetaru, a senior fellow at the George Washington University Center for Cyber and Homeland Security and a council member of the World Economic Forum Global Agenda Council on the Future of Government, came up with the idea of Internet trolling to defeat ISIS.
