Have you ever held your fingers up to frame an imaginary picture? Well now Google is hoping to gain a little popularity by implementing a new technology which uses the simple hand gesture to actually take pictures.
Even though Google Glass hasn't exactly caught on in the United States, Google is investing in a new function for the gadget that allows people to take a quick picture by using their hands. To take a picture, just hold up your fingers like you see in the patent sketch below to frame the area you want to capture.
You can position your hands as seen below to get a portrait-style picture or make a circle with your fingers to take a round photo. The only thing you can't do with this technology is take videos.
Do you think this is going to make Google Glass worth investing in, or are you still not sold? I think it would be awesome to snap a photo by quickly making a finger frame. But I want to know what you think about this!
