I've been on Facebook since 2008 when it was still limited to college students. Since then, I can't count the number of promotions or ads telling me that I can find out who unfriended me.
These services, so I thought, are all scams and I never clicked on them, but now there's a legitimate app that can tell you who is no longer your Facebook friend.
The app for both Android and Apple is called Who Deleted Me and it's also available as a browser extension for Google Chrome.
It works like this: You allow Who Deleted Me to access your Facebook friend list and it will keep track of any movement on it from here on out. (It can't find out who has deleted you in the past.) So, if Suzy Q unfriends you, you'll know if she cut you off, or if she just deactivated her Facebook account.
Only here's the problem. Once people got wind of this service, it caught fire. That fire has effectively put the site offline and has crashed the app. That's why it now has a 1-star rating in the app stores. Ouch!
However, the company is working hard to bring the application back to life. It posted the following on Facebook:
