Facebook officially has a new logo, but you might not notice it. Look closer, and tell me if you can spot the difference. Apparently this new logo is "more friendly and approachable." What do you think? See the new logo below, then compare it to the logo above:

There are a few subtle changes, but definitely no major overhaul. Facebook is in a slightly different font (you can tell by the letter "A"), the logo as a whole is skinnier and to me, the blue looks darker.
The new logo was designed by Eric Olsen, Facebook's original logo designer, and according to Facebook's creative director Josh Higgins, the goal was to "develop a custom typeface to reflect where we are now and where we are headed."
