I've told you about the many ways that Facebook is using your data and personal information to develop its own technology, but this one takes the cake. The founder and CEO of Facebook announced yesterday that the future of Facebook technology is reading your mind.
"You'll just be able to think of something and your friends will immediately be able to experience it too, if you'd like," Zuckerberg said in a Q&A session Tuesday afternoon. "This would be the ultimate communication technology."
Developers for Facebook have already experimented with artificial intelligence but this would take it one step further. The team plans to use your brainwaves to control and carry out functions on your electronic gadgets.
You could think "I want to read the newest Komando tip," and your computer would pull up the tips page! This type of technology may seem far off in the distant future, but it's actually a lot closer to happening than you may think.
