If you read the top story in today's news, you know I wasn't thrilled about Apple's latest "big" announcement. I wanted to be impressed. But once you cut through the hype, what's left is neither innovative nor surprising. I'm sorry to say that I was not wowed, but there was one feature I was very excited to see. It solves one of the most annoying problems on every cellphone.

Normally, when you use your phone to play music, you have to open the app and select your song or playlist before you can start jamming out. A new feature in iOS 9 gets rid of that process.

It's being called "Now Playing," and with it, your iPhone or iPad will recognize when you plug in your headphones. Next, it will automatically pull up to the lock screen the most recent song or eBook you were listening tok,..

No more digging through your apps to play music! I'm sure this will save me some time in the mornings when it's time for my jog!
