There's a new startup app and service that I'm very intrigued by. I'd like to give it a test as soon as I have my next dinner party, and if I do, I'll let you know how it turns out.
It's called Kitchensurfing and basically, you and some friends each pay $25 and your own personal chef for a day will come into your home and make you dinner ... and even clean up after! All you need to do is set and clear the table ... oh yea, and eat too. Sign me up!
It works like this: Each day there are three different menu options. Choose one before 3 p.m. and your very own personal chef will come and prepare the meal for at minimum 2 people and 6 people maximum. No need to go shopping or anything. All you need is a kitchen for them to work in.
The chefs are available to work from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and should be in and out of your house in about 30 minutes.
Each chef also has to pass a background check before they begin with Kitchensurfing, so you shouldn't have to worry about a chef with ulterior motives.
The service is currently only available in Manhattan New York, but it could soon be expanding, depending on its level of success.
What do you think? Would you utilize a service like this? Let me know your opinions in the comment section below.
