I'm sure you've probably heard of or even visited Ikea, the Swedish-based global chain that offers self-assembled furniture at reasonable prices. Perhaps you even have some Ikea furniture and you know the frustration of trying to follow the instructions to put it together correctly.
The thing about Ikea's furniture is that while it's stylish and has hard-to-pronounce names, at the end of the day it's just furniture. With its latest unveiling, Ikea is trying to change that.
Ikea's furniture of the future is called A Table For Living. Using sensors and a projector, it essentially becomes a "smart" kitchen table that teaches you how to cook.
Simply put down ingredients and the table will identify and weight them. Then it helps you follow a selected recipe to prepare them. The table even has a built-in cooking surface so you don't need to use a stove.

At the moment, it is just a concept, so you won't find one in your nearest Ikea. For now, you'll have to settle for furniture with built-in wireless charging.
