Facebook

Last year, Facebook did away with messaging within its mobile app for good and forced users to download its new Messenger app. Pretty soon, you might have to do the same thing on your computer, too. That's because Facebook just introduced a new Messenger site that you can access through your Web browser.

You can log in to the site with your Facebook account. Once you're logged in, the site turns into a big chat window with all of your ongoing Facebook conversations listed on the left side of the screen.

There's no word yet on whether or not the Messenger website will eventually replace the messaging feature within Facebook. Right now, you can continue messaging on Facebook or head over to the Messenger site and give it a try.
