Ikea is known for creating affordable furniture, but the company's newest invention is a little different. It's a line of handy wireless chargers that allow you to charge your phone nearly anywhere in your home or office. The gadgets are sleek and integrate right into all sorts of furniture.
Designer David Wahl explains his thinking behind the charging pads: “I wanted them to blend in easily in the home, but it’s equally important that the pads are easy to use. The result is a charging pad with a simple yet interesting design, that can be used in many places across the home.”
The charging pads come in a variety of shapes and sizes. There are lamps with charging pads in the base, nightstands with built-in chargers and standalone chargers that can sit right on your desk.
The furniture costs anywhere from $60 to $119 depending which model you buy. The standalone NORDMÄRKE pads start at $27.99.
