As always, I'm committed to staying apolitical. But one presidential candidate just ventured into my territory: all things digital.
Unless you've been living under a rock for the last few years, I'm sure you've heard all about NSA spying. If it wants to, the NSA can easily take over your computer using malware, and that includes taking over your laptop or computer's camera.
That being said, the newest presidential candidate, Rand Paul from Kentucky, strongly opposes NSA spying on its citizens. So much so that he is offering a new $15 "NSA spy cam blocker." It is compatible with laptops, computers, monitors, smart TVs, PS4, Xbox Kinect and some external webcams.
All you have to do is place it over the camera. This way, if the NSA, hackers or other snoops do take over your gadget's camera, they won't be able to see you.
Hmmm. Where have I seen this before? I showed you how to do the same thing on Vine, and for much less than $15.
This NSA blocker isn't the only tech-related merchandise Sen. Paul is selling. He's got phone cases, MacBook skins, iPad cases and more. Click here to see all the tech items Rand Paul is selling.
