Remember #Bendgate? Last year, Apple took a lot of flak for how easily its new iPhone 6 handsets bent in users' pockets. Phones were irreversibly curving just by spending time inside jeans that were a bit too tight. Now, another company's flagship phone is doing the same thing.
Can you guess who it is? I'll give you a hint. It starts with an "S" and ends in "amsung." Yep, Samsung is now the target of consumers after a test by SquareTrade's new robot, the BendBot, showed that the new Samsung Galaxy 6S Edge does actually bend.
But that's not the only new phone that bends. SquareTrade says that it may not be #Bendgate 2, but the rigorous test does show that the bigger, slimmer smartphone bend much more easily than the older, plastic bricks we used to carry around before smartphones. You have to see what else may be in trouble in tight pockets, and it's not just the phone.
