Nobody likes being spied on, not even the United States Armed Services it seems. Perhaps that's why it's buying anti-NSA smartphones in bulk, and from a surprising source.

Silent Circle was founded by former Navy Seal Mike Janke, who worked with Phil Zimmermann, the creator of Pretty Good Protection (PGP), to create the NSA-proof Blackphone. The two started Silent Circle as a small business in California, but has since moved their company to Switzerland to prevent government snooping on client records.
