US researchers claim they have found a hormone that mimics the effects of exercise, allowing people to lose weight and regulate their blood sugar.
The hormone, called MOTS-c, helps the body process sugars by increasing insulin sensitivity. It could theoretically help reverse several negative effects of aging and poor diets.
