I've written often about tech support scams. These vile and despicable scams often prey on seniors and are able to steal millions upon millions of dollars from unsuspecting victims each year.

In these tech support scams, fraudsters will get in touch with you over the phone promising to fix your computer if you give them access to it. They may even charge you for it! But all you get is nasty malware that steals your personal info. Click here to see video of a tech support scam in action.

I think it's a given to say that scammers are mad when they don't get away with their crimes. It's expected that these scammers want to get your personal information, but one scammer made an even scarier threat. You have to listen to this bizarre and twisted phone scam on my site.
