I don't know about you, but cords never really bothered me that much until I got my first cordless phone. Once I saw how convenient life can be without wires, cords started to bug me a lot more.
Now that we have Wi-Fi and cellphones, cords are more annoying than ever. It gets worse when you have to take a wireless gadget like a cellphone and add a cord, even temporarily.
Unfortunately, wireless gadgets need to charge, which mean tangled wires, full electrical outlets and finding space on a counter or desk to put it. There has to be a better way.
And there is: wireless charging. This technology has been around for a while, but it still hasn't caught on with most people. Swedish furniture-maker Ikea is looking to change that.
