Remember the movie "Back to the Future"? For those of you that have seen it, do you remember the scene where Marty puts on the futuristic Nikes and they lace up by themselves?
Well, now researchers have developed a new kind of fastener that will change the way we wear clothes. Instead of laces, it's an automatic zipper. Imagine a biohazard suit that zips itself up. Or clothes with a self-zipping zipper for people with disabilities. Or how about just a zipper that doesn't jam or snag!
Based on motion-sensing technology, the zipper tightens and releases according to the wearer's movement. There are so many practical uses for this incredible invention.
