Microsoft hasn't officially released its shiny new Windows 10 operating system yet, but there is a Technical Preview out there that some people are using. While Windows 10 is supposed to change the way you use your PC, some things never change, and it's still important to download patches and updates from Microsoft to correct glitches and security issues.
The most recent update for Windows 10 Technical Preview includes two general hotfixes and one patch to resolve potential security issues in Internet Explorer. The Internet Explorer patch is important because it protects users from a potentially serious security problem.
The patch deals with a remote code execution vulnerability in Internet Explorer. Remotely executing code lets hackers run and download any kind of programs onto your computer like malware, ransomware and keyloggers.
To update Windows 10, go into the Settings app and use the Windows Update option.
