As dash cams and body cams become more and more common in police departments across the country, we're all hoping we see fewer and fewer conflicts between police and citizens. But they're no good when they're turned off.
Unfortunately, that exact scenario happened last April in St. Louis when a man was pulled over for making an illegal U-turn in a car that vaguely resembled one involved in a shooting. And the police were none-too-gentle about verifying who was driving the car.
In the middle of the arrest, while the driver is on the ground, you can hear a woman, identified as an officer, tell the other officers to stop. And then the camera stops filming the arrest.
