If you can't beat them, join them. That seems to be Microsoft's philosophy. With Windows Phones lagging behind Android and Apple gadgets, Microsoft may have just swung a deal to put its apps on what could be the most popular Android smartphone of the year.

The Sam Mobile blog is claiming that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S6 smartphone will come with several Microsoft apps pre-installed for users. Samsung is also reportedly removing its own apps from the phone and letting users download them if they want.

This news comes on the heels of a big push by Microsoft to put its apps on both iOS and Android gadgets. The company is offering its suite of Microsoft Office apps across both platforms for free.
