Is this what Elon Musk had in mind when he warned us all about the dangers of creating artificial intelligence?

In fact, experts other than Musk have come out and said that the connectivity and easy access of the "Internet of Things," such as thermostats, smartphones, smart watches, ovens, refrigerators, and medical devices like pacemakers and insulin pumps, could be the end of the world as we know it and that the first murder-by-Internet is inevitable. 

Sure, the "Internet of Things" is a great way for us to automate household tasks and chores, but is the threat of a robot takeover worth it? One woman in South Korea found out the hard way.
