CNN calls the Sony Pictures hack "perhaps the worst of all time." Its metric for determining the worst hack of "all time" comes from a list of the 10 worst on the CNN site.
Today, I'm bringing CNN's list straight to you. Here they are, the 10 "worst" hacks of all time:
1. A European spam-prevention service, Spamhaus, was hit by cyberattackers who used more bandwidth and servers than ever before. Large portions of European Web traffic were slowed.
2. The largest credit card breach in history struck through a company called Heartland. Hackers came away with 130 million credit card numbers.
