The Super Bowl is the biggest television event of the year, and it's not just because of the football. The great commercials have become a big reason why many people tune in. Even people who don't like sports will watch just to see the ads.
“This day is about two things: football and commercials, and for good reason -- both are entertaining and our customers love them,” said Vivek Khemka, Dish senior vice president of product management.
That's why Dish is now giving its customers the chance to skip past the actual game and just watch the commercials.
That sounds a little nutty, but it's true. Dish will let customers use its popular AutoHop feature to skip past the action and onto the ads.
