Oh no, you've gotten another text from that one friend. You know who I'm talking about. The one that stresses you out just thinking about them. You love your friends, but there are a few of them that are a bit needy.
It's OK to take certain people in small doses! Everyone has at least one or two friends that stress them out, and hopefully a few friends or family members that calm the nerves and are a pleasure to be around.
Now, there's an app that can identify them. Check out this new app that helps you know which friends are driving you crazy, and which ones you should notify when you're stressed.
This new app, called "pplkpr" - pronounced "people keeper" - works with the Bluetooth heart rate monitor Mio Alpha or Mio Link. When the app senses a change in your heart rate, it will ask you where you are, who you're with, and if you're feeling happy, sad, scared, etc. If you don't have a Mio, you can just enter the information manually into the app.
Over time, the app will identify people that cause stress and boredom, and can even delete or block contacts that it thinks are bad for the emotional health of the app user.
But that's not all. Instead of just cutting you off from friends, pplkpr can also identify people that calm you down and make you happy. When you're stressed, the app will notify these good-for-you friends to help you balance out your relationships.
