Microsoft is unveiling the newest version of its operating system this week, Windows 10. But there's more than just software that Microsoft is eager to show off. There are plenty of new gadgets and gizmos that will be rolled out as well.

There are also rumors that Microsoft is working on more than it's letting on, like a smartphone-laptop hybrid. What would you get if you crossed a laptop with a smartphone? I'm not really sure either!

We may have to wait until Microsoft unveils it, but a few people think they already know what it will look like. Some experts think that the new design will look a lot like the Asus Transformer V hybrid laptop.

This incredible Asus hybrid has a revolutionary smartphone dock built in that allows the laptop and smartphone screens to be displayed and use both Windows and Android software. You can see an image below of the screens when the smartphone is placed in the screen slot. Image courtesy of Engadget.

When Microsoft announced the news of Windows 10 last year, the company also said that it would be rolling out similar interfaces across all devices, such as smartphones, tablets, laptops and desktops, so it could look a lot like the Asus Transformer V. So far all we have to work with is the description, which says that the "phone-laptop hybrid would consist of a smartphone that would plug into a shell with a larger screen and keyboard."

Who knows? It could be something completely outside of the box. What do you think? Let me know in the comments below.
