If you could talk to yourself in the future, what would you ask? Not sure? Same here, but one app supposedly lets you sort-of do that.
A European mobile carrier, Orange, hired an interactive ad agency to develop a perfect chance for you to practice talking to your future self through the power of next-gen face capture tech.
Future Self lets you upload a picture, digitizes it and ages you by 20 years. then it uses your computer's microphone to let you speak to your older, digital self.
Don't have a microphone? Don't worry, you can type words to future-you too.
I have to admit, it's a neat idea. Jam 3, the agency behind this technology, made a video about just how neat its idea really was. Check it out.
Reports from people who didn't make the Future Self tech, however, are way creepier. Some people end up with three ears, others with wrinkles on only one side of their face and some even end up with different hair colors.
Are these bugs, or do the folks over at Jam 3 really believe that some of humanity has a dormant third ear just waiting to grow within the next 20 years?
