Are you happy with your smartphone? If you own a Samsung gadget, odds are you love it. That's because Samsung owners are happier with their phones than any other gadget owners around, including iPhone users like me. Apple has long been the smartphone king, but could Samsung knock it off the throne?
According to the American Customer Satisfaction Index, Samsung scored 81 points on its 2014 survey, a six point increase from 2013. That's for good reason, too. After all, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy S5 have both been getting great reviews.
Meanwhile, Apple has had some iPhone drawbacks this year. While the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus were a resounding success from a sales standpoint, Apple did have to deal with negative press from "bendgate." So, am I crazy to love my iPhone?
While it fell behind Samsung, Apple still performed well this year. It scored 79 points, which was good for second place on the list.
That's a down from 81 points in 2013 but still not too shabby. I don't think the survey results will have Apple sweating. The company did sell about three times more gadgets than Samsung this year during the holidays.
