Comcast has had a heck of a year, to say the least. If you remember, it started when the worst customer service call ever went viral, causing Comcast COO Dave Watson to publicly apologize for the incident, but didn't help things by noting that the Comcast representative did exactly what he was trained to do. Then, there was a flood of horror stories, like this one, this one and this one.
All these instances combined made Comcast the WORST company in America, winning the 2014 Golden Poo award. But it looks like Comcast's reputation has taken a turn for the better as we near the end of 2014.
As bad as Comcast is, it's no longer the most hated. Got any guesses which the most-hated is? I'll give you a hint. It's in the same sector.
