6.6 million Keurig coffee makers under recall after burn injuries

6.6 million Keurig coffee makers under recall after burn injuries

Oh, you thought that the single-serve Keurig coffee machine that you bought wouldn't overheat and spray boiling water all over you? If you bought a Keurig MINI, then you might be in for an unpleasant surprise.

That's right, Keurig MINI coffee machines are turning on their owners. The company is now offering refunds because of the model's tendency to overheat and burn anyone who likes to watch their coffee brew.

The company has received 200 reports of boiling water escaping the Keurig MINI as well as 90 cases where victims report injuries.

Those are big numbers. Especially when you consider that every victim paid $100 for a machine that might eventually spray hot water all over them.

Keurig is offering a fix for these busted machines. The company is willing to fix the affected models for free repairs.

If you have a Keurig MINI, then you can find out if you're eligible for a free repair — and at risk for hot water getting flung at you — by clicking here.

That's not the only refund that you might be eligible for. Google's shoddy in-app purchase policy might make you eligible for a healthy payout.

Your cash might go unclaimed. Click here to get your mitts on it.
