The Empire State Building is a monument to human ingenuity. The music video for "Gangnam Style" by South Korean pop star Psy has a part where an elevator door opens and some funny stuff happens.

Haven't seen it? Watch this funny music video right here.

If you've enjoyed this silly music video recently, then you may have noticed that the video has over 2.1 billion views. That's a big number. So big, in fact, that I'm not sure if an infographic from The Economist has left me amused or very, very depressed.

Do you see what I see? The graph compares the number of man hours spent watching "Gangnam Style" to the number of man hours it took to build these massive undertakings.

You could have built 20 Empire State Buildings with the collective time that humanity has spent watching "Gangnam Style." It almost makes me want to watch fewer videos. Or at least, better videos!
