Take out your cellphone and look at the back. Have you ever wondered what those hieroglyphic-looking symbols on your phone mean?
You know the ones that I'm talking about. The FCC Logo should be on the far left. The rest of them, well, don't ask me what they are.
Well, every cellphone manufacturer actually has to print those symbols and the text above on every phone that they produce. It's the law.
It's not a law anymore. President Obama just signed the E-Label act, which lets cellphone manufacturers display all of this information digitally.
I'm mostly shocked that the circus over there in Washington actually got something done. This is a case of an outdated law catching up with the times, and at least that means someone's actually working over in D.C.
