If hacking were an Olympic sport, the U.S. would slip away with a bronze medal at best. Or, at least the results of an MWR InfoSecurity survey seem to think so.
The survey polled cybersecurity professionals about which country produced the strongest hackers. A whopping 34% said that the Russians were the best at cracking computers. China came in second place with 18% of the vote.
Third place was taken by the U.K. But considering the fact that the people surveyed were U.K. security professionals, you'd have to think that they'd be pretty full of themselves, too.
The first two results definitely make a lot of sense. If you've been following all of my coverage, then you'd know the most terrifying hacks this year have come from Russia and China.
Find out about a hacker attack on the White House. When you're finished reading that, see how Chinese hackers infiltrated U.S. military contractors. Who would you rate as the most dangerous hacker-haven in the world? Let me know in the comment section.
