Which state is the worst for ID theft?

Identity theft is a very serious threat in this country and it's rapidly growing. Already, it's America's second-biggest fear, ahead of public speaking and being randomly shot. Not even children are safe from ID theft!

But it turns out that some states are worse than others when it comes to identity theft. The FTC compiled a list of ID theft complaints and ranked them by state. The state where identity theft happens least is South Dakota, but what's number 1? Below is the full list of all 50 states ranked by number of ID theft complaints per 100,000 residents.
