No one is immune to a social media oops.

Not TV personalities. Not journalists. Not professional sports teams or sports stars. Not airlines.  Not parentsteenagers or toddlers.

Not even the chief financial officer of Twitter.

I would really hope one of the company's highest executives would be better at using their own product, but that's not the case.

Anthony Noto accidentally tweeted to the entire world what he intended to be a private message.

He quickly took the tweet down, but the implications are huge.

"I think we should buy them. He is on your schedule for Dec 15 or 16 - we will need to sell him. i have a plan"

It's a huge mistake that seems funny at first, but could potentially torpedo a big deal - but nobody knows what company Twitter might want to buy. It's set off tons of speculation online.

Don't make the same mistakes as Noto. Click here for 3 dumb social media mistakes you shouldn't make.
