When you gather together with friends and family for Thanksgiving dinner, you'll probably see most of the basics: turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, yams, cranberry sauce, rolls, etc.
However, depending on where you live, you might have another special dish. And it might be kind of weird to people who live somewhere else.
To prove the point, The New York Times and Google compiled search information to find the unique Thanksgiving dishes popular in each state. Let me tell you, there are some very interesting ones on here.
The New York Times page has more information on each dish and the other popular searches from each state.
So, have you made or even eaten the dish in your state? Do you think something else should have been the winner?
Let me know in the comments.
