"Hello? Can you hear me now?" Everyone with a phone has used this line, you know you have. And if you've ever used a VoIP like Skype, then you've definitely used that line.
Don't get me wrong, Skype is a great tool to have, especially when you want to see someone's face that you haven't seen in a while. But sometimes the interface can be clunky, and not everyone wants to download another program to their computer.
So Skype has decided to introduce a new way to experience a face-to-face conversation over the Internet to make it easier to use.
Introducing Skype for Web, the new way to have voice and video conversations! Now you can use the Skype app in your browser instead of downloading a program to your computer.
The best part is that you can use Skype on any computer, Mac or PC. What a perfect way to connect for the holidays!
Unfortunately, Skype for Web is still in beta testing. But Skype says to keep checking back to its website for access in the coming weeks. Once you're signed in to your Skype account, you should see Skype for Web once it's available to the public.
