Stop me if you've heard this one before. A robot walks into a bar and started serving drinks!

It's no joke.

Not only have they replaced customer service employees at Lowe's, robots are now taking over the high seas, performing as cruise ship bartenders for Royal Caribbean's Quantum of the Seas' Bionic Bar.

The bartenders will make their official debut on Sunday when the Quantum of the Seas sets out on its maiden voyage. Tablets will be provided to customers to order their drinks with a few taps. Passengers can choose from classic recipes or come up with their own concoctions.

That's when the robots get put to work. The robots get liquor from bottles hanging overhead and are programmed to pour just the right proportion of ice and mixer, then add garnishes like lemons and mint leaves. Does your drink need to be shaken or stirred? The robots do that too.

Cosmos, Long Island iced teas, rum and Coke, screwdrivers, mojitos, Manhattans and martinis, these robots can do it all.
