Big news from Facebook: Updates to its most popular game bugs non-players
Candy Crush / King

The sweet gaming sensation that's been at the top of the charts for the last couple of years has decided to stay on a roll. Candy Crush has made the move to Facebook with a new storyline and hundreds of new levels in the hit new game Candy Crush Soda Saga.

What does this mean for you? If you're a fan of the game, it means hours and hours of new levels and entertainment on Facebook, starting today. And, in a few short weeks, it means a new app for the Candy Crush Soda Saga on most smartphones.

And what if you don't really care for Candy Crush? It means that you're probably going to see notifications for the new Candy Crush game.

A lot of notifications.

But don't worry, you can keep Candy Crush from cluttering up your Facebook news feed.

Happily, you don't have to officially "unfriend" close friends and family members from Facebook just because they're oversharing their latest Candy Crush adventures. There's a much less permanent way to keep their constant updates from bogging down your Facebook feed.

Find one of their posts on your news feed and click on the down arrow in the top right corner of their post or update. Then click the "Unfollow" button to stop receiving updates from that person.

You can always turn their updates back on by looking up their profile and re-following them. It's just that easy.

There are lots of other Facebook tricks that I bet you aren't even using. Check them out by clicking here now!
