Amazon's stock price may have dipped recently, but that's definitely not for lack of innovation. The company has been steadily releasing new gadgets throughout the summer, and their latest attempt is the next generation of its Kindle line.
With the release of the Kindle Fire HD 6, Amazon has released the most powerful tablet "below $99." The tablet will be released in October. If you're in the market for a heavy markdown on a more powerful tablet, you might want to look at Amazon's Kindle Fire HDX.
The gadget was marked down heavily in preparation for the next-gen tablets, so you might want to check them out.
Refurbished Kindle Fire HDX - $159.99 ($209.99)
The Kindle Fire HDX is one of the most powerful tablet PCs at one of the cheapest prices on the market. To compete with Microsoft, Samsung and Apple's offerings, I think Amazon opted to focus on value.
It's more feasible for the company, I think, because it's also selling the videos, games and a wide variety of other content that you might end up buying for your Kindle. Amazon isn't just selling you powerful hardware, it's trying to get you to come aboard its all-in-one platform.
