Secret photos of iPhone cargo plane shipment ... leaked

Secret photos of iPhone cargo plane shipment ... leaked

You may have already heard that the demand for iPhone 6 models is greater than the supply. In the first 24 hours, Apple had already sold 4 million devices and announced that it had sold out of iPhone 6 Plus (at least for the time being).

If you are still in the market but haven't pulled the trigger on placing an order yet, something tells me you should not be too worried. OK, the "something" isn't just  a weird feeling or confidence that there will be enough to go around.

Instead, there were some photos leaked of a Chinese cargo plane (presumably not too far from the phone assembly plant) being loaded with 93 tons of iPhone 6 devices. The plane was headed to Chicago.

Oh, and with the incredible sales Apple is posting, why don't you take a moment to find out how the iPhone 6 stacks up against competitors (in functionality, not pallates) with my handy-dandy smartphone comparison chart.

It should be said that the export process is given to extremely tight security, requiring even officers to sign confidentiality agreements beyond those made mandatory by all such employers.

Apple has listed the pre-open weight of iPhone 6 and 6 Plus at 129 g and 172 g, respectively. This means the 93 tons of cargo (with an average unit weight of 150 g/ per phone) would be roughly equivalent to 600,000 devices.
