Scary news out of the Middle East.
It looks like dangerous and brutal terrorist group ISIS is getting social media help from a friend very familiar with the western world.
Born in Syria but raised in Boston, his name is Ahmad Abousamra and he's currently on the Most Wanted Terrorist list. And he's tagged with a $50,000 reward for any information leading to his capture.
He's wanted for "Conspiracy and attempting to provide material support to terrorists; conspiracy to kill in a foreign country; conspiracy; and false statements."
Here's what else we do know: It's suspected that Abousamra is running the Islamic State's social media programs. That might not seem too scary at the surface, but let's remember who ISIS is and what the atrocities they've done so far.
What's more, Abousamra could be even more dangerous because of his degree related to computer technology from Northeastern University, where he made Dean's list. It's also alarming that he previously worked for a U.S. telecommunications company.
Other reports via Mashable from people who knew him claim that he's now "using his skills in Syria or Iraq at the service of the group which has cut a bloody path across the two countries."
