I'm sure that by now you've heard about the leak of nude photos concerning A-list movie stars like Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Upton, Kirsten Dunst and other female celebrities. Now we know more about this scandal, and none of it is good.

It has been revealed that nude photos of minors, technically child pornography, were also in the cache of stolen photos. Images of MTV actress Liz Lee and gymnast McKayla Maroney were among those distributed on 4chan, Reddit and other places on the Web.

Maroney's lawyers have confirmed that the illegally obtained photos were taken while the gymnast was underage. The attorneys' letter, sent to Porn.com and other websites, demands that the images be removed.

Additionally, Reddit users have been sharing revenge-porn photos of the actress Liz Lee, whose photos were not part of the initial leaks, but were taken and leaked by her boyfriend when Lee was 16.

Some Redditors have been scrambling to erase the underage photos from their computers to protect themselves from child pornography charges, but the fact remains that Reddit administrators have yet to ban the message board entirely.

Some guilty parties on Reddit thought that they could create good out of the situation by donating to the Prostate Cancer Foundation website, and quickly became the largest group of donors to give to the organization.

However, since the donations were essentially guilt money, the Prostate Cancer Foundation has since rejected all the donations and released the following statement:

A post appeared on Reddit late Monday afternoon, September 1, 2014. A Reddit user directed other Reddit users to make a donation to the Prostate Cancer Foundation without the Foundation’s knowledge. We would never condone raising funds for cancer research in this manner. Out of respect for everyone involved and in keeping with our own standards, we are returning all donations that resulted from this post.

We still don't know how the photos were leaked, and Apple is denying any fault. But we'll keep you updated as we know more about this despicable breach of privacy.
