But this one might take the cake.
The new Samsung phone - The Galaxy Note Edge - has something no other phone company has yet to attempt: a stock ticker on the edge of the phone. In other words, the right edge of the phone is curved and the screen dips.
You would think that this curved screen would make room for a bigger screen, but it actually makes it smaller. The new screen measures just 5.6 inches. By comparison, the Note 3's screen size is 5.7 inches.
In theory, the curved screen will act as a news ticker, showing users trending tweets, sports scores, stock prices and more. It will also act as an app tray.
