Walmart isn't the only one slashing the prices on tech.
Microsoft has reduced the price of its Surface 2 tablets by $100 until September 27, or until supplies run out.
You can get the discount online and at Microsoft's brick-and-mortar stores. The Surface 2 tablets now start at $349 for 32GB, $579 for the 64GB LTE version, making the tablets cheaper to buy than certain iPad models.
Microsoft released the Surface Pro 3 back in May to replace the Surface Pro 2, but didn't launch an upgrade for the regular Surface 2. Now, Microsoft is likely clearing out the remaining stock to make room for the Surface 3, or whatever is next in the line.
Even though the Surface 2 might be replaced soon, it's hard to pass up such a low price. Is the Surface 2 right for you? Click here to use my handy tablet comparison chart and my tablet buying guide to help you decide.
