If you're excited about the new iPhone coming out in the fall, you're not alone.
Remember when I told you that Apple has high hopes for the new phone? It's ordered in between 70 million and 80 million devices from the production line, meaning it's set to be the best-selling iPhone ever, and one expert is predicting sales numbers so high, you might not believe it.
Apple analyst Amit Daryanani of RBC Capital Markets predicts that Apple will sell 65 million of the new devices, with 10 million being sold in its opening weekend - slated for September 9.
His estimates might not be that far off. Nearly 9 million units of the iPhone 5s and 5c were sold in their first weekend on the market, (September 2013) and 47.8 million were sold through December 2013. Comparing more numbers, Daryanani's predictions mean that the iPhone 6 would nearly double sales of the iPhone 4s (37 million) sold in the same amount of time. That's not too shabby.
In the meantime, we can only wait and watch as more details emerge about what might be the best-selling phone of all time. As usual, Apple is keeping tight-lipped on the details surrounding the new iPhone. But I've got tons of rumors gathered on my site.
