The thought of losing your phone is a nightmare for any tech user. It has your contacts, email, texts, photos and much more.
That's why modern smartphones have apps that can track it down for you if it's lost or stolen. Android's app is the Android Device Manager, and it's getting a handy new feature.
If your phone is locked - and it should be - it might be difficult for someone who found your phone to get it back to you. They can't unlock it to find your name or number, after all.
Well, now you can make it easier for them by remotely adding a phone number to your lock screen with a personal message. This way, the person who has found your phone has a contact number so you can get your phone back safe and sound.
Once the message is received, the only thing the person with your phone can do is tap on the call button to contact you.
It's a handy feature you don't want to miss out on. Click here to get Android Device Manager if you don't already have it.
