The Komando DashCam, GoPros and other mounted cameras give you incredible views of the world in almost any situation. You could see a meteorite while driving in your car, have a close encounter with a top predator, surf with a seal pup and even more.
But watching the whole videos can be boring. Most of the cool stuff you see online are just a couple minutes of highlights from hours of video.
To show off the whole thing you could speed it up, but that leads to motion blur and a shaky camera that makes you want to lose your lunch. Stabilizing the camera before speeding it up doesn't really help, either.
That's why Microsoft is excited to announce that it has a team developing a new software that can turn your long and boring videos into incredibly smooth hyperlapse films.
Hyperlapse is a special type of time-lapse video that is tweaked to make the video stable, streamlined, and fast. I think this will be the new way to watch those long mountain-biking and touring videos.
